i am considering getting a synthesizer to play for fun (i.e. to make beats, songs, and stuff). i’m looking for one around $400, and so far the microkorg or microkorg xl seem to be the front runners in my internet search. BUT i am a total beginner and have no clue on a couple of issues: what kind of speakers or amps should i be looking for to go with the synth? is it possible to get one for relatively cheap? will the microkorg let me record songs? i know the xl has a usb connection. does this mean i can save beats i make up to my computer? or this solely for the convenience of making patches with computer software rather than on the synth itself? do the korgs let you play more than 1 key simultaneously? i’ve also looked at the microx. this seems to me more like a regular keyboard than an actual synth like the others, with presets sounding like real instruments. is this a fair assessment? I appreciate any answers and extra advice for my synth selection!
well, im really passionate about music. and i’d like to do some myself. i would love to record my acoustic guitar and some vocals on my pc. so, what equipment and program do i need for that? and if i’d like to add some electronic touch to it what would i need? a synthesizer? and if than what kind?i was thinking about recording some sounds of the street too, but i dont really know what kind of recorder would be good enough to get the work done. i have so many questions and everything i found on the internet sounds so complicated! help me please, i would love to get started
