via this auction “FORMANTA RHYTHM FRET NECK GUITAR — INCREDIBLY RARE VINTAGE SOVIET GEAR. LOOKS REALLY LIKE A CRAZY-SPACE-GUITAR ;] The unit has one connection plug – Soviet 5DIN. As far as I know it used as an addition to FORMANTA UDS and MARSH UDS drum sets. Unfortunately I don’t posess any of these so I cannot test the unit anyhow. It has 7 buttons on front side and 2 on the back. According to manual while tapping the “SPHERIC THING” the unit sends trigger commands to the control module. Probably it can trigger any drum machine or kinda. I cannot know that for sure, sorry…”

Nothing serious here, just experimenting to see what patterns I might find by switching switches. This is a basic 3-voice patch – first voice is the Ian Fritz DoubleDekka VCO into the Mankato filter, with a bit of delay from the Blacet Time Machine. Second voice is the Ian Fritz Teezer VCO into the MOTM 440 filter. Third voice is a MOTM 300 into the Tellun Doomsday Machine and then into the MOTM 480 filter.

via Hexfix93. Full review with samples here . “This is my secret weapon. It can step in and do most any job. Yeah, the sounds are compressed rompler stuff, but seriously, the filters in this have this wet sound, this air to them that really makes things cut in the mix and sound lush and vibrant. I love the filters on this, I tried to like the triton, but the filters were not the same.”

The bass is from the MOTM E350, the chords from the MFB OSC2. I’m just using the small modular in the centre. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy it

Please don’t do it like this! The grey metal box on top is the power amp module, which also has its own PSU, but safely inside the box.”

At first the good news: It’s a quite normal battery like you find it in your household or every supermarket. At last the bad news: You’ve to take care with the american screws, don’t loose it. If they are driven to hard you’ll have stress to open them without demolition of the housings surface.”

YouTube via Destroyifyer ” This is a circuit bent Yamaha RX7 and an NES. As a warning, there are many loud, high pitched sounds in this video.” via this auction “4 point patch grid on both machines, RX7 has a 24 channel mixer split into 4 groups of 6 by 3 switches. The RX7 has 6 fully routable pots (four 50k, one 250k and one 500k) connected by 5 switches and a 6th routes the last to the first making a loop. The NES has 8 routable pots (six 50k, one 100k, and one 250k) connected by 7 switches with an 8th that routes the last to the first. The video and the sound of the NES can be modified, triggered and controlled with the RX7, and the NES can mod its own picture by itself as well as sounds of the RX7. Both machines are fully functional, the NES is excellent and plays games without hesitation or glitches. RX7 will come with many of the drums edited, which can all easily be reset to the original factory settings if desired. A couple of the factory kits have been delightfully mangled to be very non-decaying and sound oriented to take a break from drum sounds if you wish… these can be easily overwritten (although they have been saved with the factory settings if they are missed). The RX7 is capable of making many non-drum noises and by both using the patch-grid and programming the machine a good selection of sounds can be achieved. It is recommended to research the RX7 and its capabilities if unfamiliar with this machine. Accessories include an NES controller, a 9V power adapter and random game for the NES, a power adapter and owner’s manual for the RX7, as well as plenty of patch cables. The price of shipping includes insurance. For international bidders, please contact me a day or so in advance for a shipping quote. These machines will go to the highest bidder and ship out somewhat immediately. Right-click and “save target as” or similar mac operation to listen. This video showcases the Moog Voyager Editor Librarian Preset Genetics . Preset Genetics allows you to quickly build new sounds from two existing ones in a similar fashion to breeding. Parameters of each of the two sources (parents) are combined using four different functions to generate a new bank of presets (kids). via Subtronik : I only used the first three ‘Preset Genetic’ generators here for basses and leads because the fourth ‘Random’ function mainly generates abstract sounds. I’ll be doing a second video dedicated to the ‘Random’ function soon.
YouTube via peahix “OK, this is especially for all the folks out there who refuse to believe that the music in the car commercial was, in fact, made using either an Optigan or samples of an Optigan. In this video I use a not-very-well-working and very dusty Optigan (I buy authentic 70s-era dust on eBay to sprinkle on all my Optigans) to show how this music was created. Whoever put together the music for the commercial almost certainly used samples of the Optigan (a comprehensive set of which is available from my website: http://www.optigan.com ), but the result is more or less the same as if they’d played it on a real Optigan drenched in reverb. Incidentally, you can hear Optigan sounds in LOTS of TV commercials- it’s just that they’re usually mixed in with other instruments as a texture, rather than played solo as is the case here
